Frequently Asked Question!

Mental health involves our emotional, psychological, and social wellbeing. It affects how we think, feel, and act, and influences our handling of stress, relationships, and decisionmaking.
Yes, mental health disorders are genuine health conditions caused by a combination of genetics, brain chemistry, and life experiences. Like physical health issues, they require appropriate treatment.
No. Seeking therapy is a sign of strength and self-awareness, not weakness. Many people, including high achievers and successful individuals, benefit from therapy to manage stress, build resilience, and improve their lives.
Therapy involves talking with a trained mental health professional to explore thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) help patients learn healthy coping strategies.
Mental health disorders are complex and influenced by multiple factors, including genetics, environment, and life experiences. Parenting alone does not cause mental health issues.
Although stigma around mental health still exists, it is decreasing as more people understand its importance. Seeking therapy is a positive and courageous step towards wellbeing.
